This zip file contains
        The WIA format csv files sorted by Band,Mode and Distance from nominated cities
        Data files for a variety of radio programming applications.
        VBScipt examples for you to experiement and add to the formats supported


If you are a club and would like to get csv files added to this zip file for cities in your region then send a request to tacrep@wia.org.au.
Please supply the latitude and longitude of the centre of the city in decimal format. This can be found on Google Earth.
For example here is Sydney Tower:- location /lat:-33.870502 /long:151.208954.


Information on CHIRP

chirp.csv is a CHIRP formatted file that allows for the easy programming of radios that CHIRP Supports.
CHIRP is available for free from http://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/Home.
chirp.csv uses the information in Repeater Directory.csv to create a chirp file sorted by band and increasing frequency.
chirp.csv gives the name as the name of the repeater followed by a band ,whereas chirpM.csv uses a 6 character mNemonic for the name plus the band.
As yet not all repeaters have had a mNemonic assigned. If you are a sponsor of a repeater please contact tacrep@wia.org.au to change or add a repeater mNemonic.
In addition CHIRP files are available for every state that is sorted by band and distance from the capital city.
